There’s no pass or fail in IELTS.
雅思不存在合格或不合格。
You get what’s called a “band score” from 1 to 9 that indicates the level of your English skills.
你拿到的分數叫“等級”，從1分到9分，反映著你的英語水平。
There can also be half band scores, so, for example, you could get a 7.5 instead of a 7.
有時還有半分，例如你可以拿到7.5分，而不是7分。
For each of the four components of the test you get individual band scores.
考試的四個部分你拿到單項分。
How do you get your overall band score?
怎么評出總分？
This is an average of your four individual scores.
總分是你四部分單項分數的平均分。
To work this out, add your Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking scores together, then divide this by four.
計算方法是，把你聽力，閱讀，寫作和口語的單項分加起來，再除以4。

But before you rush ahead, remember that your tests will be marked by highly qualified and trained examiners.

They don’t know why you are taking the test, and they don’t know what score you need.

So you can be sure your test is marked fairly and consistently.
