Describe a person in your family who is most similar to you.

Who this person is;
What type of person he/she is.

Candidate 1: If someone asks me to say who is similar to me in my family, I would say my elder sister. She is kind, outgoing, energetic, positive and hardworking. Although I'm a boy and she is a girl, what I want to say is that we share a lot in character.
For example, we two like helping others. I'm not bragging. In fact, sometimes, we two seem stupid, because we always lose sometings while helping others. Therefore, our parents often criticize us, but nothing has changed.
We are easy to forget things, but that doesn't mean we always fail to do something. Just the oppisite way, we always forget some unimportant things, such as forgetting to take something back when we leave a place.
I have just mentioned two things above, but there are many similarities between us. I think we are similar because we were brought up by the same parents and in the same environment, or it's the DNA's sake. Of course, there is also another similar thing between us—we all love each other.

Candidate 1有一位和自己非常相象的姐姐，兩個人都是熱心腸，樂于助人而且總是健忘，回答生動有趣。

Candidate 2: I have a warm grandfather who is 86 years old. In my family, everyone loves him because of his good temper and humorous words. Every week when I go back home, the first thing I do is to visit him. He was a farmer when he was young, but now he thinks just like the wise dose. I love him so much that I tell him almost everything that happened in the college and he just gives me some advice. Maybe it is the inheritance that makes us similar to each other. He likes Chinese chess just as I do. He does't mind the thing that has happened and so do I. I love him not just because he is similar to me but I need to learn from him in many fields. He has an ability to make my family harmonious. To be frank, he is the wisest in my family. And he is my idol.

Candidate 3: When I came to the earth and opened the eyes for the first time, my first sight was towards my mother who gave me life. It was her who taught me to walk, speak, think and also told me what love was.
She gave me a lot in my growth. When I was in trouble, she always came to the forefront to help me and supported me. People always say mother is the first teacher to you. Indeed, my mother has made a deep effect on me. She taught me not only how to distinguish right and wrong, but also how to be a true human being.
From a naughty baby to a young guy, I grow up day by day. At the same time, my mother is no longer young. I couldn't image how much sweat and tear she paid in the past years. In my heart my mother is a great mother for whom I was grateful. The light from her illuminates my life. One day, I would have my own family. She wouldn't worry about me any more and I could do something for her in return. At that time I hope that she would be happy forever.

Candidate 2, Candidate 3分別描述了自己可敬可愛的爺爺和偉大的母親。美中不足的是講述自己和他們的相似點太少。

Candidate 4: I am tall and my uncle is really short but much stronger than me. I am a science student and he is an art student. However, I think he is the person most similar to me in my family. At least we are both handsome!
He is my mother's litter brother. When I was young, he hadn't got married. He regardes me as his own child and treated me well as my parents did. Once upon a time one of my favorite toys was lost and I was so depressed. Uncle said to me, "Not until the old went will the new one come!" When I was afraid to do something, he always said, "Be a man!"
Sometimes, we slept together having a chat until very late at night. Maybe all of these are the reasons why when I grow up I am similar to my uncle.
My uncle is a person who is optimistic and humorous. So do I. When our family members have a talk, we two often share the same opinion. We share the same TV channel and both love NBA. No matter how old we are, I believe that we can always find the same topics.

Candidate 4描述了自己與小舅舅的許多相似之處，如性格開朗、幽默、有共同的喜好等等，并且分析了相似的原因。真實可靠，語言流暢。把握好一個家庭成員的描述就等于準備了許多個題目。如果是描述"An Interesting Old Man", 這個答案是不是一樣可以參考呢？
