1. What's the most important thing between friends?
Candidate 1: I think the most important thing between friends is mutual(相互的) trust. One day, one of my friends asked me to fall down with my back to the ground, and she also told me that she would push me up before I really touched the ground. Without any thinking, I began to fall to her. Of course, I always trust her. And she always says she is proud of being trusted by me. Friendship has nothing to do with the distance of places friends live in, but involves the distance of their hearts. Without any trust, how can a friendship last long? I think mutual trust is the first step to be friends, and also the most important thing between friends.
Candidate 2: Friends are very important for all of us. Most of us want to have more friends in our lives. I think the most important thing between friends is trust. Trust is to have a strong reliance on our friends. Good friends never break a confidence. A friend should be someone whom one is not afraid to be upset in front of, because he can trust the friend with true feelings. Nobody wants to make friends with a person who is always suspicious(懷疑的). We all hope others would trust us and we are afraid of misunderstanding from others. So we should trust our friends. Good friends would always share some of their secrets because they believe that their friends would not tell that to other people. If you want to make more good friends, you should learn to trust your friends.
Candidate 3: What is it that makes friendship so solid that nothing can spoil(關(guān)系破壞) it? I think the answer is trust between friends. And it is also the most important thing between friends. Now the society is complicated. Mutual suspicion makes friendship cold. Only by mutual trust can friends get along well with(相處融洽) each other. Trust can also make friends believe in each other even when they are in difficulties. It is mutual trust that makes them firmly believe that they and their friends are facing difficulties together. So, I think the most important thing between friends is trust.
2. Is it more difficult to make a bosom friend(知心朋友) when one is grown up than before? Why?
Candidate 1: In my opinion, when one is grown up, making a bosom friend is more difficult, because there are a series of factors influencing our friendship.
Firstly, when one is grown up, he will consider many aspects when making friends, such as his own interests, social status and family background, one's ability to do with tasks and so on. The purest factors—personality, hobbies and value are always placed in the last place. Secondly, nowadays competition in the modern society is inevitable and increasingly fierce. Each grown-up becomes sophisticated(世故的) and many people are always wearing masks to perform all kinds of characters. So we cannot really know a person deep in heart.
So, I suppose it is more difficult to make a bosom friend when one is grown up than before.
Candidate 2: We always hear somebody say like this: having a bosom friend is one of the nicest things in life. A bosom friend knows you from top and toe, and he can share everything with you.
But along with our growth, we find that fewer and fewer people care much about us, maybe because they are always busy, or we can not meet the needs of their interests, and they don't want to waste any time on us. There are so many reasons that always confuse us, and we just ask ourselves, "Why?"
Of course, we should admit that, the competition is so fierce today. We assume too much pressure and we need to study hard, work hard so that we can keep up with the society. Therefore, we ignore many important things, such as bosom friends.
