Lesson Five Guest requires about Interest Charge Debit Notice

客人詢問(wèn)有關(guān)利息欠單事宜

C：Good morning,can I help you?

店員：早晨好，您有什么事嗎？

G：YesI received this debit noticeWhat is this all about?

旅客：是的，我收到這份欠款通知單，請(qǐng)問(wèn)它是關(guān)于什么的欠款單？

C：Oh,this is for the interest charge on your rental which has been outstanding since the first of the month. After the th when your account has been in arrears for more than two weeks,we begin to charge you interest starting from the first,when the bill was due.

店員：這是由于您逾期未付租金而加收利息的通知單自本月日開(kāi)始。過(guò)了本月日后，你已經(jīng)欠款超過(guò)兩個(gè)星期了，我們開(kāi)始加收自本月日賬單到期時(shí)起的利息。

G：Well,I had no idea my room bill wasn't paid this month My company usually wires the payment to you directlyIsn't that right?

旅客：噢，我并不知道本月租金未付。通常不是由我公司直接將租金電匯給你們的嗎？

C：YesUsually they send the payment on time, but this month we haven't received your room-payment to date. Perhaps you could contact them about it.

G：Yes,well,I certainly will

G：I spoke to my company's headquarters in New York. It seems the secretary who's in charge of wiring my rent was on vacation last week. They're taking care of it now. You should have the money in a day or two. Since this is the first time this has ever happened, do you think it would be possible to waive the interest charge this time?

旅客：我已和公司駐紐約的總部通過(guò)話了。好像是由于負(fù)責(zé)電匯給我租金的秘書上星期度假去了，所以現(xiàn)在他們正在辦理此事。你們應(yīng)該能在一兩天內(nèi)收到這筆租金。由于此事是第一次發(fā)生，你們是否考慮免收這次的利息。

C：I'm afraid I'll have to speak to our manager about that. Just a moment,please

店員：恐怕我需要和我們經(jīng)理商談一下。請(qǐng)您稍等。

G: Our manager said that since your company has had a good record of timely payment up till now, he thinks we can agree to that,but just this once!

旅客：我們的經(jīng)理說(shuō)由于你們公司到現(xiàn)在為止租金的交納都很及時(shí)，他認(rèn)為我們可以同意免收這次的利息，但是下不為例.

G：Thank you I understand. I'll make sure my office in New York is more careful about it in the future. Thank you for understanding

旅客：謝謝您，我知道。我保證我們?cè)诩~約的公司今后將會(huì)謹(jǐn)慎處理此事的。多謝您的理解。

C：You're welcome

店員：不必客氣。
