Well, I'd love to share with you my personal opinions on city life and life in small towns.

I grew up in a small town until I was 18 and then moved to a big city.

So I have experienced the good and bad sides of both.

I never thought that I would like living in a big city, but I was wrong.

Surely small towns and big cities both have some problems in terms of transport.

In a small town, you have to own a car to make life comfortable.

You can't get around without one because there isn't any kind of public transport.
沒有車，你就不能四處轉，因為小城鎮沒有任何公共交通。
Big cities generally have heavy traffic and expensive parking,

but there you have a choice of taking public transport, which is cheaper than driving.
但是可以選擇公共交通，比自己開車更便宜。
So, if you don't have a car, you'd better live in the city.
所以，如果你沒有車，在大城市生活更好。
I also love the exciting life in big cities.
我也喜歡大城市令人激動的生活。
I can always enjoy a lot of films, concerts, and other wonderful shows.
我可以欣賞許多電影、音樂會以及其它非常棒的演出。
However, these things are not common in small towns.
但是，這些在小城鎮不常有。
The final thing I like about large cities is that you can meet different kinds of people.
我喜歡大城市的最后一件事是你可以遇到各種不同的人。
However, you seldom find such a variety of people in a smaller town.
但是，在小城鎮你幾乎不能找到各種各樣的人。
I think that living in an area where everyone was just like me would quickly become dull.
我認為生活在一個人們都和我差不多的地方會讓我變得無趣。
Of course, safety should be considered, and that's one area where small towns are better than big cities.
當然，應該考慮安全因素，這是小城鎮比大城市更好的一個方面。
Still, I would rather be a bit more careful and live in a large city than to feel safe but dull.
至今，我寧愿更小心一點，然后住在大城市里，也不愿住在感到安全但是讓人變得無趣的小城鎮里。
