②后接 suggestion, plan, proposal等名詞時，與 accept同義：
Do you think he will agree to (=accept) my suggestion? 你認為他會同意 (接受)我的建議嗎?
③其后既可接動詞原形 (此時to是不定式符號)，也可接動名詞 (一般有邏輯主語，此時 to是介詞)：
He agreed to go with us. 他同意同我們去。
I never agreed to Mary marrying him. 我從來沒同意瑪麗嫁給他。

3. agree on [upon]
①主要指雙方通過協商而取得一致意見或達成協議：
We agreed on the price. 我們就價格達成了一致意見。
Both sides agreed on these terms. 雙方都同意這些條件。
②后接動名詞 (=agree to do sth)：
He agreed on lending (=to lend) us some money. 他同意借給我們一些錢。
Mary agreed on coming [to come] on Monday. 瑪麗同意星期一來。

4.兩點用法說明：
(1) 后接表示人的名詞或代詞時，一般只用 agree with。
(2) agree不能接不定式的復合結構，所以漢語的“同意某人做某事”，不能直譯為 agree sb to do sth，而應根據情況改用其它結構：
他們同意我去。
正：They agreed to let me go.
正：They agreed to my going.
