======================語法常識回顧=================
1.have been + ing 是“現在完成進行式”，它表示“一直”“始終”的意思。使用時我們最好注意一下與之相伴的某些詞或時間狀語。
例如：
· How long have you been writing letters?
你（一直在）寫信寫了有多長時間啦？
· I've been writing letters for an hour (since three o'clock).
我寫了有1個小時了。（從3點鐘起就一直在寫信。）
2.這種“一直”就是至今仍然在繼續的意思。如果我們說：
· He has been helping her with her homework for months.
( 幾個月來他一直在幫助她做家庭作業。)
這句話的內涵是：
·He started to help her with her homework months ago, and he still does.
(幾個月之前他開始幫助她做作業，他現在仍然在幫她。)
3. 關于 sine 和 for the last three weeks 之區別。
since 后面不可跟具體的數字（鐘點除外）
如：
· We have been staying here since three weeks.（錯）
(三周以來我們一直住在這兒。)
為了要表達這一意思，就要借助于下列表達法：
· for the last···
· for the past···
· in the past···
· over the past···
· during the last··· (以來)+完成式(或完成進行式)
你千萬不要一看到有 past,last 就認為只能用動詞過去式，這你就錯了。試看以下例句：
1）He hasn't had anything to eat for the last twelve hours.
(12個小時以來，他未曾吃過什么東西。)
2）He's lived here for the last few years.
(幾年以來他就住在這兒。)
3）In the past two years I've seen him little.
(兩年來，我很少見到他。)
4）I've been feeling well for the past few days.
(幾天來，我一直身體不錯。)
5）She has been on the phone for the past hour.
(一個小時以來，她一直在打電話。)

rather small 頗小，相當小，這個rather與fairly為相對詞，都有“相當”之意，但rather往往用在貶義

We have just moved into a new house and I have been working hard all morning.I have been trying to get my new room in order. This has not been easy because I own over a thousand books.
