Last month, our dog welcomed me when I came home from school.
上個月，當我從學校回到家的時候，我們家的小狗熱情地歡迎了我。
He wanted a walk, but I was so tired. I threw down my bag and went to the living room.
它想出去玩，但是我實在太累了。我扔下書包，來到了客廳。
The minute I sat down in front of the TV, my mom came over. "Could you please take the dog for a walk?" she asked.
正當我在電視機前坐下來的時候，媽媽回家了。"你能把狗帶出去遛遛嗎？"她問道。
"Could I watch one show first?" I asked.
"我能先看會兒電視嗎？"我問她。
"No!" she replied angrily. "You watch TV all the time and never help out around the house! I can't work all day and do housework all evening."
"不行！"她很生氣地回答。"你成天都在看電視，從來都不出去走走！我沒法工作一天之后回來還要做一晚上的家務。"
"Well, I work all day at school, too! I'm just as tired as you are!" I shouted back.
"我也上了一天的課了呢！我現在和你一樣累！"我朝她嚷道。
My mom did not say anything and walked away. For one week, she did not do any housework and neither did I.
媽媽沒有說一句話就走開了。接下來的一周，她沒有做任何的家務，我也沒有做。
Finally, I could not find a clean dish or a clean shirt.
最后，我都找不到一個干凈的盤子，一件干凈的襯衫了。
The next day, my mom came home from work to find the house clean and tidy.
第二天，媽媽下班回來發現家里突然變得干凈整潔了。
"What happened?" she asked in surprise.
"發生了什么事？"她驚訝地問道。
"I'm so sorry, Mom. I finally understand that we need to share the housework to have a clean and comfortable home," I replied.
"對不起，媽媽。我終于意識到我們需要分擔家務，這樣我們才能有一個干凈舒適的家，"我回答道。
