My name is Lucas.
我的名字叫盧卡斯。
I hope to be a farmer when I grow up.
我希望長(zhǎng)大以后成為一名農(nóng)民。
Is my father a farmer?
我的爸爸是一名農(nóng)民嗎？
No. What about my mother?
不是。我的媽媽呢？
No again.

So why do I want to be a farmer?
所以為什么我想成為一名農(nóng)民呢？
Because it is really an important job.
因?yàn)檫@真的是一個(gè)重要的工作。
Everyone needs food,
人人都需要食物，
and I want to grow the best crops.
而且我想種出最好的水稻。
Or maybe I will be a manager.
或者，也許我會(huì)成為一名經(jīng)理。
I would run a business and lead a team.
我會(huì)經(jīng)營(yíng)一家公司，領(lǐng)導(dǎo)一支團(tuán)隊(duì)。
I would work hard and make the company bigger and stronger.
我會(huì)努力工作，使公司逐漸壯大。
I might even be a teacher.
甚至，我可能會(huì)做一名老師。
It would be fun.
這會(huì)很有意思。
I would be nice to all of my students.
我會(huì)對(duì)所有的學(xué)生們好。
I would encourage them to be creative.
我會(huì)鼓勵(lì)他們具有創(chuàng)造力。
Alan is my best friend.
艾倫是我最好的朋友。
We are in the same class.

His dream is to be a doctor.
他的夢(mèng)想是成為一名醫(yī)生。
His sister is going to be a doctor, too.
他的姐姐也要做一名醫(yī)生。
They want to help sick people.
他們想要幫助病人。
But our biggest goal is to be happy.
但是我們最大的目標(biāo)就是快樂(lè)。
Rich or poor?
富有還是貧窮？
It doesn't matter.
這無(wú)所謂。
So what would make us happy?
所以什么會(huì)讓我們開(kāi)心？
A job we like, a nice family and good friends would make us very happy.
一份我們喜歡的工作，一個(gè)幸福的家庭，還有好朋友，會(huì)讓我們快樂(lè)。
