A long time ago, there were ten suns in the sky.
很久很久以前，天上有十個太陽。
The weather was very hot.
天氣很熱，
Plants could not grow.
植物無法生長，
Animals could not live long.
動物也活不長。
There was a man. His name was Houyi.
有一個人，名叫后羿，
He shot nine suns out of the sky.
他射掉了九個太陽，
In the end, only one sun remained.
最后，天上只剩下一個太陽。
The weather got cooler.
天氣涼快了，
Plants could grow.
植物可以生長了，
People were happy.
人們都很開心。
