M: I have to send in my paper. To be honest, I want to be in a different environment.
男：我必須把辭職信交上去了。說實(shí)話，我想換個環(huán)境。
W: Did you consider your decision in a second thought?
女：你再三考慮過你的決定嗎？
M: Yes, I don't want to be stuck in a rut. I want to move on. So after my cogitation, I have decided to resign and I have to turn in my resignation two weeks before my last day.
男：是的，我不想再這么刻板乏味了。我想繼續(xù)前進(jìn)。所以經(jīng)過考慮之后，我決定辭職。我必須提前兩周遞交辭呈。
W: I'd like to say that I've really enjoyed working with you. Would you be happier with higher pay here? I'm sure something can be worked out.
女：我想說我真的很喜歡跟你一起工作。如果你在這里的工資再高點(diǎn)兒你會更開心嗎？我肯定問題會解決的。
M: I'm afraid not. I've promised my wife and even myself. I really want to do something that I'm interested in. Thus I can gain a sense of satisfaction. Besides, I find it difficult to get along with colleagues here, which makes me unhappy. Most of them only focus on own business, and they pay little attention to cooperation. That is why we failed to accomplish last month's task.
男：恐怕不行。我已經(jīng)跟我妻子甚至是我自己保證過了。我真的很想做一些我真正感興趣的事情。這樣我會獲得一些滿足感。還有，我發(fā)現(xiàn)很難跟這里的同事相處。這一點(diǎn)讓我很不開心。他們大多數(shù)只關(guān)心他們自己的業(yè)務(wù)，不注重合作。這也是我沒有完成上月任務(wù)的原因。
W: OK, I will consider your complaint, because this piece of information is important to our company's development. But anyway, if you insist in quitting, you will break the contract. So, ...

M: Yes, I understand. How much should I pay for breaking the agreement?

W: As much as double of your present salary.

M: It doesn't matter. I accept it. I can't carry out the agreement with you.

W: Hope we can become friends.

M: Honestly speaking, as a boss, you respect us a lot and value our views. You are considerate, sincere and motivating. Personally I do prefer to cooperate with you. Anyway, we are friends forever.
