W: Well, it seems quite common actually. A lot of people in Australia now are traveling and taking time off. And when I was traveling, I met so many people doing the same thing.
女：其實旅行是個很普遍的現象?，F在許多澳大利人都喜歡旅行、休假。我去旅行的時候，碰到好多人也在旅行。
M: Right. Talk something about Singapore? People said it's very modern. But because it is so modern, it's rather boring. Didn't you think that?
男：是的。說說新加坡吧？人們說新加坡是個現代化的城市。但是因為過于現代化，這個城市也愈加無趣。你不覺得嗎？
W: Well, it's difficult to say it real. It has different attractions. You know the Chinese, Malay, and Hindu communities are there. Each has its own culture and customs. It's clean. (13) It's a great big shopping center and I really enjoy it from that point of view.
女：這個很難說。新加坡有很多景點。那里還有好多華人，馬來西亞人和印度人社區。每個社區的風俗和文化都各有特點。那里的環境舒適整潔。還有大型的購物中心，我很喜歡那里的購物環境。
M: After Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, where did you go?

W: I went to China.

M: Wow! That's a great country to travel in, isn't it?
男：哇哦，那是個很有意思的國家，對吧？
W: Yeah, it was fabulous. I went to Beijing, Kaifeng, Yinchuan, and Tibet.
女：是的，中國真的是個很神奇的國度。我去了北京，開封，銀川和西藏。
M: Well, how exciting! Tell me more about Tibet.
男：多么令人興奮??！咱們聊聊西藏吧。
W: It is the most fascinating and exciting place. (14) I've never been to such a different place. The people there are wonderful. The clothes they wear and the food they eat are just attractive to me.
女：西藏的風景最迷人。我從未見過如此與眾不同的地方。那里的人們熱情好客。他們的服飾和飲食深深的吸引著我。
M: Em. How did you feel after all this traveling? I mean you were on the move alone for months and months, and suddenly you are here, and not traveling any more.
男：嗯，這次旅行結束你有什么感想？我是說你獨自旅行了數月，突然回到這里并且以后不再旅行。
W: I was ready to stop anyway. I get pretty sick, wearing the same clothes, and washing them in different hotels. (15) I never stay in the same place for more than two days. I don't think I could keep doing it.

M: Yeah. Maybe it's something I should try.
