開始會議:學會專業開場
【介紹】
為會議準備了很多包括日程agenda、會議記錄minutes book, 草案the draft等等
會議終要開始，就像準備了很久的戲劇總要拉開帷幕。人生總是這樣需要咬起牙關迎難而上，開始面對挑戰，那么今天我們就來學習，如何開始會議。

M: Is everybody here?
都到了么？
L: We're still missing a few guys.
還缺幾個人。
M: Since almost everyone is here, let's begin the meeting. We can fill in others as they arrive.
大家基本到齊了，讓我們開會吧。等其他人來時，我們再讓他們加入進來。
L:All right.
行。
M: Well, Honored Guests , I declare the meeting open.
好的，尊敬的來賓，現在我宣布會議開始。

J: Almost, there only twenty minutes to go.

D: Since all participants are here, let's start early.
既然所有人都到齊了， 我們提前開始吧。
J: You'd better not, if you don't want to complicate things.
要是不想讓事情變得復雜的話，最好不這樣做。

我不想使這項任務不必要地復雜化。

D: Go ahead. What's the problem?

J: You know, we are going to discuss bids on the loading dock doors at the meeting. That's a controversial item. If problems occur, complaints may arise from those who feel the start time contributes to the loss of a vote.
J: 您知道，我們會上將討論裝運碼頭門的投標問題。這個會議極富爭議。如果出了麻煩，可能會有人抱怨是會議的提早造成票源流失。

D: Got it. But some people want to get started so that they can go home at a reasonable hour.
我明白了。可是有人想提前開會，這樣可以提早回家。
J: Just tell them you can't start before schedule.
只要告訴他們，你不能提早開會就行了。

reasonable adj. 合理的，公道的;
Eg: Teachers can only be expected to do what is reasonable and practicable.
教師只應該做合情合理而且切實可行的事。

D: Good idea…I know the way you feel, but we have to wait for the published start time.
好主意……我知道大家的感受，但我們未必能等到正式公布的時間。
J: Good, David. It's nine o'clock now.
好的，戴維。到9點鐘了。
