開始會議:學會專業開場
【介紹】
為會議準備了很多包括日程agenda、會議記錄minutes book, 草案the draft等等
會議終要開始,就像準備了很久的戲劇總要拉開帷幕。人生總是這樣需要咬起牙關迎難而上,開始面對挑戰,那么今天我們就來學習,如何開始會議。

L: We're still missing a few guys.

M: Since almost everyone is here, let's begin the meeting. We can fill in others as they arrive.

L:All right.
行。
M: Well, Honored Guests , I declare the meeting open.
好的,尊敬的來賓,現在我宣布會議開始。

J: You'd better not, if you don't want to complicate things.
要是不想讓事情變得復雜的話,最好不這樣做。

J: You know, we are going to discuss bids on the loading dock doors at the meeting. That's a controversial item. If problems occur, complaints may arise from those who feel the start time contributes to the loss of a vote.
J: 您知道,我們會上將討論裝運碼頭門的投標問題。這個會議極富爭議。如果出了麻煩,可能會有人抱怨是會議的提早造成票源流失。

D: Got it. But some people want to get started so that they can go home at a reasonable hour.
我明白了。可是有人想提前開會,這樣可以提早回家。
J: Just tell them you can't start before schedule.
只要告訴他們,你不能提早開會就行了。

Eg: Teachers can only be expected to do what is reasonable and practicable.
教師只應該做合情合理而且切實可行的事。
D: Good idea…I know the way you feel, but we have to wait for the published start time.

J: Good, David. It's nine o'clock now.
