問題1：You majored in philosophy. How did that prepare you for this career?
回答：Philosophy didn't prepare me for a career in architecture at all. But it did force me to become philosophical about my prospects. I happened to take a course about architecture history, and totally was attracted by this field. I firmly believe that only if I am totally interested in a field can I make achievement in that field. I've never looked back ,this is definitely the career that I was meant to be in.
哲學(xué)對我從事建筑行業(yè)來說，并沒有幫助，但是卻讓我不得不從哲學(xué)角度來思考我的前景。我有一次參加了一個(gè)關(guān)于建筑史的一門課程，并且完全被這個(gè)領(lǐng)域深深吸引了。我堅(jiān)信只有全心喜歡一個(gè)領(lǐng)域才能在這個(gè)領(lǐng)域內(nèi)做出佳績。我從來也沒有后悔過，這就是我想要的行業(yè)。

回答：My professor showed me strategies to make complex mathematics not only enjoyable, but fulfilling every day. As soon as I completed his course I knew this was the field I wanted to be in . I enrolled that fall and have been studying advanced accounting ever since.
