Before the NBA resumes the playoffs Saturday, Today players in the league moving forward with meaningful change. Off the court both sides agreeing to establish a Social Justice Coalition, focusing on access to voting, civic engagement and police and criminal justice reform. Using the power of their platform to reach tens of millions, the league plans to convert their own facilities, including arenas like this one into voting locations for the upcoming election. We understand how strong our voice is, how powerful our voice is. And ultimately we decided if we go away from this stage, we don't necessarily have that same platform.
