Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip have fired more than 250 rockets into Israel, drawing dozens of retaliatory airstrikes. At least six people, including a pregnant mother and her baby daughter have been killed, with others wounded. The intense attacks have broken a month-long lull between Palestinian militants and Israel.
And Thailand's new king has been officially crowned, with an elaborate centuries-old ceremony continuing. The king is the country's first new monarch in nearly seven decades. Coronation events span over three days and are intended to symbolise the transformation of the king into a divine being.
