neither的用法小結(jié)：
1. neither用作形容詞，表示“(兩者)都不”，置于單數(shù)名詞之前。
Neither article is made in Beijing. 這兩種物品都不是北京制造的。
I will participate in neither game. 那兩項(xiàng)比賽我都不參加。
We discussed neither subject.這兩個(gè)問題我們都沒有討論。
提醒注意：在口語(yǔ)中以not... either...替換neither使用的情形也很多。例如：
They bought neither house. = They didn't buy either house. 兩間房子他們都沒
買。
2. neither用作代詞，表示“兩者都不，雙方均不”。例如：
He answered neither of the letters. 他兩封信都沒回。
She bought two toys, but neither can please the child. 她買了兩個(gè)玩具，卻沒有
一個(gè)能讓小孩高興。
—Which one would you like? 你喜歡哪一個(gè)？
—Neither. 兩個(gè)都不喜歡。
此時(shí)，與neither用法較為接近的詞是none，但none的含義略有不同，none
表示“(三者以上)所有的……都不”。例如：
None of us are perfect. 人無完人。
提醒注意：neither作主語(yǔ)時(shí)，通常被視為單數(shù)，但從意義上講也可視為復(fù)數(shù)。
Neither of the cars was / were damaged. 兩部車都沒有受損。
3. neither用作連詞，常用短語(yǔ)為neither...nor...，表示“既不……也不……”。
例如：
Neither he nor I am well educated. 他和我都沒受過良好教育。
I have neither time nor money. 我既沒時(shí)間也沒錢。
The novel is neither realistic nor poetic.那部小說既不寫實(shí)也沒有詩(shī)意。
