The election season is winding down in the United States. And voters will head to the polls in just two weeks, although millions are already taking advantage of early voting in some states. The main contenders, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, present very different alternatives.

Core supporters of Republican nominee Trump remain passionate and committed, but polling consistently shows Democratic nominee Clinton up by about five percent over Trump.

Trump's polling numbers plummeted after rough debate performances, a leaked tape showing him making crude remarks about women and a string of accusers coming forward claiming Trump groped them or made unwanted advances.
