1. High horse 傲慢無禮，目中無人的態度
例如：The minute Max starts arguing, he gets on his high horse.
只要一開始爭論，Max就會擺出一副高高在上的模樣。
由此引申出的短語還有 ride one's high horse，根據high horse的意思就很容易理解該短語的意思，就是“騎著高頭大馬，耀武揚威，橫得不行的樣子”。
