一、什么是便函
簡單地說，便函就是指在同一家機構內從一個人或一個部門傳遞到另一個
人或部門的書面信息，內容是要在當天或近期內所要辦理的事情。
二、便函寫作的格式
便函通常包含以下幾個部分：
1. 公司名稱；
2. 公司的電話號碼或傳真號碼；
3. 收函人姓名（和職位）To:
4. 留言人姓名（和職位）From:
5. 留言日期Date:
6. 便函主題Subject（Re）:
7. 正文
下面我們選擇兩則便函為例，結合我們剛剛講到的有關便函的知識，給大家做一個具體的講解。

II. 便函寫作應試技巧
一、題目要求
在考試時，題目中會給你一個特定的情景，同時會告訴給你要完成三項寫作任務；題目中會有清楚的字數限制，即40-50字，超出或少于這個字數限制都會影響你的成績。
二、便函寫作的要求
簡潔：不用寫許多空洞的客套話。內容要直截了當，開門見山。
完整：在用詞和造句時要用完整句，不能因為這是一種非正式文體的寫作就可以用縮略句，這些做法都是錯誤的。
實用：寫出一條便函、便條、電子短信或留言，一定要有實用性。要少用空泛、含混的概念，而用具體、明確的詞匯和句子。交代給對方做的事情或通知對方的內容一定要讓對方能夠易于操作，準確無誤地完成。
以上三點說起來容易，做起來難。下面我們就來演練一下。
請看下面題目：
You are Head of Research for an international car manufacturer. You have to make an urgent trip tomorrow to visit Pierre Blanco, a colleague who works for a subsidiary.
Write a memo of 40-50 words to your secretary.
