雪城大學在美國是以文科著名的院校，有優越的地理位置和秀麗的風景之外，還有著強大的硬件設置和師資力量，傳媒學院的計算機房全部采用的是蘋果機，傳媒學院師教職員工達到60名之多，可見其傳媒學院之龐大。該校的Media Studies偏重于學術類，申請的人并不是很多，所以他們的這個專業每年有三分之一招收的都是中國學生，所以非常受中國學生的歡迎。
申請條件：
該校對國際學生申請要求較高。學校往年錄取的國際學生中，TOEFL成績平均要達到110分，國際學生大約占10-15%，并且錄取的一般都有相關工作經驗。申請人需要提供， PS ，CV，這種常規的申請材料之外，Media management 專業接受的是GMAT。但是申請人不可以同時申請SU的其它專業，不提供Joint Degree。
