1.無數的推薦信都寫被推薦人上課時積極表達自己的觀點，下課后還繼續與教師討論學術問題，但是談論什么問題，卻總是沒有具體的例子。如：

2．為了用事例說明被推薦人不斷地汲取各種知識，很多推薦人都在推薦信中這樣寫道：我經常看見XXX在圖書館閱讀各類專業圖書和英語雜志。但是在圖書館學習是一個學生日常生活的一部分，正如一個司機在開車，一個農民在地里干活并不能說明他們與別的司機或者農民有什么不同，更不能說明有什么值得稱道的。
