冷空氣怎么用英語表達(dá)？

很多細(xì)心的同學(xué)可能會發(fā)現(xiàn)，在看英文天氣預(yù)報播報時，播報員說到冷空氣要來了，一般都會說：

The cold front is on the way.

冷空氣要達(dá)到具體的城市或者國家的時候可以說：

There's a cold front coming to China.（有一股冷空氣要來中國啦。）

而 cold air， 一般是指 空調(diào)等設(shè)備發(fā)出的 “冷氣”，比如我們可以說：keep the cold air from coming through windows. 不要讓冷氣從窗戶跑出去了。

因此，冷空氣的正確表達(dá)應(yīng)該是：

cold front

front 是一個氣象學(xué)的名詞，表示 “冷暖氣流的交鋒”。

舉個例子：

A cold front is bringing colder weather and snow，you should put on more clothes tomorrow.

冷鋒過境，空氣變冷還下雪，明天你得多穿衣服。

注意穿厚點(diǎn)也不是wear thicker clothes

“厚”對應(yīng)的英文是more clothes

關(guān)于穿厚點(diǎn)，還有一個更加地道的表達(dá)：

Bundle up 穿暖和些

舉個例子：

Bundle up, it's freezing cold outside!

穿多一些，外面很冷！
