Dogs are obedient but for cats you can't train them.

This is again because dogs are pack animals and in a pack, you have a leader and the leader tells the other dog what to do.

Obedient 順從的

我們糾結了一下這里：obedient v.s docile
Obedient: be willing to follow orders or rules 有主動選擇的意味，多多少少是愿意為之
Docile: be more submissive and let people control you. You are more under their influence. 更像不得已而為之，受控他人

Dom的總結也很到位，docile is more about personality while obedient describes a behavior.
