Alex給我們擴展了一點英國電視臺的節目運作模式：
BBC的電視臺是木有廣告的！這是為了防止有傾向性的廣告誤導消費者，想看廣告要去另外的電視臺，但是你也被BBC強制購買收視許可證，還真的很貴！

This is based on the idea that if the TV channel has no adverts, then it can not be influenced to give information which is biased at all or advertising.

很好的句型，可以提升你的流利度和邏輯：

This is based on the idea that... 這是基于…的考慮，也就是“這是因為…”。

I think it's not to do with the government. I think it's more to do with the consumers.

Be to do with sth. 和…有關

Is there any essential difference between AI technology and robots?

Alex給出的答案還是很一針見血的：
機器人是能活動的物體而人工智能跟多地和軟件相關。

AI can be more related to the software side of things.

Be related to 和…相關，記得前面Alex用過be more to do with sth. ?這里是替換用法

AI might not necessarily be in a product that's meant to be a computer. It could be in another product like a car for example so we wouldn't normally refer to a car as a robot.
這句話說得特別高級，因為有幾個特別地道的用法。
劃重點：
1 necessarily 必要地，經常用于否定句，也就是not necessarily，比如：

News might not necessarily be long but it needs to reflect the facts. 新聞可以不用長篇大論但是應當反映事實。【這是Julie剛開始從事新聞行業時，被首先培訓的意識】

He has a GPS system in his car and it's supposed to be voice-activated and you are supposed to just talk to it naturally. 他的車上有個GPS導航是語音啟動的，【像對人一樣】直接對它講話就可以。

Voice-activated 【可通過】語音啟動的

Be supposed to do sth.

如果主語是人，表示某事就是設計好這樣做

如果主語是事物，表示某事或物是設計好被這樣做或者使用比如：

Cars are supposed to be driven and foods are supposed to be eaten.

一般以主語是人更常用。
