Harry and Ron hurried to a desk at the back and opened their bags.
哈利和羅恩趕忙走到后排的一張桌子前，打開(kāi)書包。
Ron looked behind him. 'Where's Hermione gone?' Harry looked around, too.
羅恩回頭看了看。“赫敏哪里去了？”哈利也向四面尋找。
Hermione hadn't entered the classroom, yet Harry knew she had been right next to him when he had opened the door.
赫敏沒(méi)有進(jìn)教室。但是哈利知道他推門時(shí)赫敏明明就在身后。
'That's weird,' said Harry, staring at Ron. 'Maybe — maybe she went to the bathroom or something?'
“這可怪了，”哈利說(shuō)，瞪眼看著羅恩，“也許——也許她到洗手問(wèn)還是干什么去了？”
But Hermione didn't turn up all lesson.
但是整整一節(jié)課赫敏都沒(méi)有出現(xiàn)。
'She could've done with a Cheering Charm on her, too,'
“她也需要快樂(lè)咒語(yǔ)在她的身上起作用。”
said Ron, as the class left for lunch, all grinning broadly — the Cheering Charms had left them with a feeling of great contentment.
羅恩說(shuō)，這時(shí)全班都要去吃午飯了，大家都笑容可掬——快樂(lè)咒語(yǔ)讓他們都有了一種大大的滿足感。
Hermione wasn't at lunch either.
吃午飯時(shí)赫敏也不在。
By the time they had finished their apple pie,

the after-effects of the Cheering Charms were wearing off, and Harry and Ron had started to get slightly worried.
快樂(lè)咒語(yǔ)的作用漸漸消失，哈利和羅恩開(kāi)始有點(diǎn)擔(dān)心了。
'You don't think Malfoy did something to her?' Ron said anxiously, as they hurried upstairs towards Gryffindor Tower.
“你說(shuō)馬爾福會(huì)整她嗎？”羅恩焦急地說(shuō)，這時(shí)他們正趕著上格蘭芬多塔樓去。
They passed the security trolls, gave the Fat Lady the password ('Flibbertigibbet') and scrambled through the portrait hole into the common room.
他們經(jīng)過(guò)保安侏儒，向胖夫人說(shuō)了口令（“花花公子哥兒”），然后攀上肖像畫上的洞來(lái)到公共休息室。
Hermione was sitting at a table, fast asleep, her head resting on an open Arithmancy book.
赫敏坐在桌旁，睡得正熟，她的腦袋伏在一本打開(kāi)的算術(shù)占卜教科書上。
They went to sit down either side of her. Harry prodded her awake.
他們走過(guò)去分別坐在她兩旁。哈利碰醒了她。
'Wh-what?' said Hermione, waking with a start, and staring wildly around. 'Is it time to go? W-which lesson have we got now?'
“什——什么？”赫敏說(shuō)道。她一驚，醒來(lái)了，慌張地到處張望。“該走了嗎？我們現(xiàn)在該上什么課了？”
'Divination, but it's not for another twenty minutes,' said Harry. 'Hermione, why didn't you come to Charms?'
“占卜，不過(guò)還有二十分鐘呢。”哈利說(shuō)。“赫敏，你為什么沒(méi)有去上魔咒課？”
'What? Oh no!' Hermione squeaked. 'I forgot to go to Charms!'
“什么？哦，不！”赫敏尖叫起來(lái)．“我忘記上魔咒課了！”
