Janice: Well, I gotta buy a vowel①. Because, oh my god! Who would’ve thought that someday, Chandler Bing would buy me a drawer?1
珍妮絲：我得說個元音開頭的詞了。因為我的上帝啊，誰會想到，有一天錢德勒·賓會買個抽屜給我？
Chandler: Well, not me.2 But that’s what’s happened, and there’s more. We should take a trip.
錢德勒：反正我可想不到。但事實就是這樣。而且還不止這些。我們應(yīng)該去旅行。
Janice: We should?
珍妮絲：我們該這么做？
Chandler: Yep, we’re a couple and that’s what couples do. And, I wanna meet your parents. We should take a trip with your parents!
錢德勒：是的，我們是情侶，情侶就應(yīng)該這樣。我還要去見你爸媽，我們應(yīng)該跟你爸媽一起去旅行！
Janice: I don’t think we need to, because you’re tripping me out② right now! Are you Okay?
珍妮絲：我想不用了，因為你已經(jīng)快把我搞迷糊了！你還好嗎？
Chandler: I am. I actually am. I mean this is amazing. My entire life I have feared this place, and now that I’m here, it’s like what was the big deal.
I mean, I could probably say “Let’s move in③ together.” and I’d be Okay.
錢德勒：我很好。我真的很好。真是太不可思議了。我一生都在害怕這個時刻。但是現(xiàn)在我到這個時候了，卻覺得沒什么大不了的。我可能會說“我們同居吧”，卻還是若無其事。
Janice: You probably want us to move in together?

Chandler: It doesn’t scare me!

Janice: Well, it scares me!3 I mean I’m not even divorced yet, Chandler. You know, you just invited me over here for pasta, and all of the sudden you’re like talking about moving in together. And I wasn’t even that hungry.4 You know what, it’s getting really late, and I, I should just, um…
