According to a new poll from INSIDER, most Americans would prefer to put the $5.7 billion President Trump wants towards funding for his border wall -spent on other policies.

In the poll, which had 1,025 respondents, only 19% said they wanted the money spent on Trump's wall.

According to Business Insider, the poll concludes that only the core supporters who comprise Trump's base want the wall funding, while the rest are uninterested.
