France’s Famous Fugitive Captured Again

French police have captured a notorious French fugitive at an apartment complex near Paris. Redoine Faid, who escaped from a French prison via a hijacked helicopter three months ago, is once again behind bars. The serial robber, who was in jail for the murder of a police officer following a failed robbery, is well-known in France due to two successful prison breaks. In 2013, the French fugitive used dynamite to break out of a prison, but was caught again soon after. Faid once admitted he was inspired by Michael Mann’s movie Heat, which he claimed to have watched hundreds of times. French authorities say he will now be held in a maximum-security facility.
