Walmart has stopped selling T-shirts and baby onesies that say "Impeach 45."

CNN reports the retailer said Tuesday it was pulling the controversial clothing from its website in response to a tweet from conservative commentator Ryan Fournier.

Many Twitter users said they would boycott Walmart after photos of the garments were posted on the social media platform.

Walmart responded, "These items were sold by third-party sellers on our open marketplace and were not offered directly by Walmart.
