Here's something I'm trying to figure out, some of these oddities

Evangelical Lutheran Church, that's a liberal Lutheran church, that's the theologically and socially liberal

Compared to the Missouri Synod which is the conservative Lutheran branch, the fundamentalist branch, we can see many more in Nebraska

but actually that county we're just talking about, Big Stone County Democratic voting

Although barely, yes it's the real purple area
