Mark: Hi, Jingjing. Have you still been going to the gym pretty often?
馬克:嗨,京晶,你還經常去健身房嗎?
Jingjing: I make it there twice a week at least. Last week, I was there four times.
京晶:我一周至少能去兩次。上周,我去了四次。
Mark: Good for you. Hey, I'd still like some advice.

Jingjing: Sure? What are you focused on—strength, endurance or flexibility?

Mark: Well, I've been going for strength training, mainly lifting weights and stuff. Maybe that's why I'm so sore after every workout.

Jingjing: What do you do for endurance?

Jingjing: Well, why don't you try the elliptical runners, if they have those at your gym?

Jingjing: Well, you know what they say about aerobic exercise: you need at least 20 minutes each time. How about you set it for 5km and see how long that takes you.

Mark: Great news, Jingjing. I think I'm really getting the hang of the exercise equipment at the gym.

Jingjing: Glad to hear it. Did you use the elliptical runner?

Mark: Yeah. It took me 28.5 minutes the first time, and just 25 minutes the next time I went.

Jingjing: That's decent. It sounds like you're making progress.

Mark: Yep. Best of all, I worked with a trainer.

Mark: Well, he recommended that I do fewer lifts in each set, but more sets on each type of machine.

Mark: Yes. That's kept me from getting sore.

Jingjing: You got some pretty good advice. I might try that too. I've been meaning to do more weights at the gym.

Jingjing: Well, I do lots of aerobic exercise, and dance.
