I don't think my dad ever took anybody for granted,

One time, years ago when the kids were little,

I was feeling really sick.I had the flu,

so I lay down on the bed,and I said to Warren,

I may not get to the bathroom.I feel so sick."

He said, "Okay." So he trottles down to the kitchen,and I hear this bang,bip, boom, bang!
他說 好 就下樓去廚房了 我就聽到了叮叮咣咣的聲音
And he comes up, and he brings me a colander.
然后他來了 給我拿了個濾鍋
I looked at it, and I said,"Look, honey, this has holes in it."
我看著濾鍋 說 親愛的 這個有洞
"Oh, oh, okay." So he ran down,all this banging and everything.
哦 哦 好的 他就跑下去了 然后又是叮叮咣咣
And he comes up and he puts the colander on a cookie sheet.

Physical proximity to Warren doesn't always mean that he's there with you.
