Micheal Jordan was an absolutely beast with the Fadeaway and it was one of a few unstoppable NBA moves

So, if you are gonna learn the master

It will help your score against taller, longer and more athletic defenders

Michael Jordan has a punch of different variations on his Fadeaway Jumper

But what really make it unstoppable was he can fade going to his right, and he can fade going to his left
但是這個動作最難防的地方是喬丹可以往右側也可以往左側翻身后仰
Today we are gonna talk about just his classical spin Fadeaway
今天我們只討論喬丹最經典的后仰轉身后仰
Now most of time MJ use the fadeaway in the post up situation
大多情況下MJ會在低位背打時后仰跳投
where the defenders was behind him, and between him in the basket

So once you catching the post, the key is to feel the defender

Generally you defenders will play harder one side or the other and once they do, you can spin the opposite direction

Notice how the defenders playing a little higher up on his left hip opening up room for the spin space line

Now you footwork gonna change a little bit depending on what direction you decide to turn, when turnning toward his shooting hand

Now the signature legkick does a couple of things

NO, 1 it helps get all your shooting in a linemen, so your shooting knee, head, shoulder and elbow were all on the same line

Now Let's watch this foot work moving to the opposite shoulder

he is generally more comfortable with the one two step coming out of a spin move in to a shot

so, just work on being able to fade either direction

and work on getting that perfect leg kick to get that extra separation with the defender and get your shot on a line
