My mum said, ”The TV is broken! There’s just a big 11 on the screen!” It was the pause button.
我媽說：“電視機壞了，屏幕上有個很大的11”，其實那個11是暫停鍵的標志。
When I passed my classes, mom responded with “WTF.” She thought that meant, “Well That’s Fantastic.”
當我考試過了，我媽跟我說：“WTF（what the fuck）” 她覺得WTF的縮寫是：“哇，那真棒。”
My mom excitedly said her new sweatshirt was bisexual. I said, “Do you mean unisex?” She said, “Whatever.”
我媽很興奮的跟我說，她新的運動衫是雙性（bisexual）的。我說：“你是指男女皆宜（unisex）吧” 她說：“別管這些小細節”
Mom told me to walk home after a party. I said , “What if I get kidnapped?” and she said “Trust me, they’ll bring you back.”
我媽告訴我聚會之后要自己走回家，我說：“如果我被綁架了怎么辦？”，結果我媽說：“相信我，他們會帶你回來的。”
