講解
Today's key word is Ear
Ear e-a-r
Your ears are the two parts of your body, one on each side of your head, with which you hear sounds.
Here is an example:
An ear for foreign languages is advantageous.
Because today is the International Ear Care Day! International Ear Care Day is an annual event held on 3 March. It aims to raise awareness and promote ear and hearing care across the world.
First of all, The risk of damage to your hearing is based on two factors: how loud and for how long. If loud music ever causes pain in your ears, leave the room or turn it down immediately. And a handy rule is that if you can't talk to someone two metres away without shouting大喊, the noise level could be damaging. And here are 5 tips to help protect your hearing:
If you can't leave the venue, take regular breaks. A 10-minute rest break will give your ears some time to recover(恢復).
If the music is uncomfortable for you to listen to, or you can't hear external sounds, then it's too loud. It's also too loud if the person next to you can hear the music from your headphones.
3. 60 rule. Listen to your music at 60% of the maximum volume for no more than 60 minutes a day.
These block out background noise and allow you to have the volume lower.
According to Action on Hearing Loss, you need at least 16 hours of rest for your ears to recover after spending around two hours in 100dB sound, for example in a club.
And each episode of Ayo-English has only roughly 3 minutes, so Talk to you next time!
