Social media is computer-mediated（電腦媒介） tool that allow people to create, share or exchange information, ideas, and pictures/videos in virtual(虛擬) communities and networks.

今天我們來講講我們每天都在用的社交媒體。剛剛過去的國慶朋友圈攝影大賽，你得了第幾名呢？我想很多人都有一種感覺，Your friends' lives always look more exciting than yours on wechat, weibo, and other social media platforms.

別人的生活滿滿的都是，美食，愛人，旅行~~~~~~~而自己只能老老實實學(xué)習(xí)，認(rèn)認(rèn)真真上班, 勤勤懇懇單身~~~~But 重點來了，

A recent survey（調(diào)查） has found around two-thirds of people on social media post images to their profiles to make their lives seem more adventurous.

Seem more adventurous, Seem只是看起來很美而已。而且，很多人發(fā)朋友圈的目的其實非常非常地單純。

More than half of those surveyed said they posted images of items and places purely（純粹地） to cause jealousy（嫉妒） among friends and family.

其實，仔細(xì)想想也很正常。

Who doesn’t want to look better in front of their friends? We're living in a world of instant communication. We want to know what others are doing right now; We want to know what celebrities are wearing today.
In 2015, everybody is a photographer. People are using photography（攝影） to express themselves and to show the world exactly what makes them who they are.

朋友圈，其實就像一個理想國，在這里，有音樂，有美食，有陽光，有情，有錢，有人聊天。挺好的。

So just post whatever you want to post on wechat and other social media platforms.
