A study released Tuesday found that the number of selfies someone post to Instagram is directly correlated to how that person feels about themselves
and could end up ruining their relationships, platonic or otherwise.
The study was conducted by Drs. Jessica Ridgway and Russell Clayton who surveyed people from ages 18 to 62 about their selfies, self-image and relationship satisfaction.
They found that people's self-image was based on the quality of their selfie.
These people also reported getting into more fights in their relationships.
The report correlates to a recent study with newlyweds that showed that couples were less happy, when the wife took a lot of selfies.
