That's just the name of the chamber that the blood ends up in.
這是心臟中四個房室之一
And it came into the right atrium from a giant vessel up top called the superior vena cava.
血液從大靜脈進入右心房，上邊的大靜脈叫上腔靜脈
And this is a vein, of course,
很明顯，這是靜脈
because it's bringing blood towards the heart.
這是輸送進入心臟血液的
And down here, the inferior vena cava.
下方的靜脈是下腔靜脈
So these are the two directions that blood is going to be flowing.
這是血液流動的兩個方向
And once blood is in the right atrium,
一旦血液進入右心房
it's going to head down into the right ventricle.
就會接著流入右心室
So this is the right ventricle, down here.
下邊這里就是右心室
This is the second chamber of the heart.
這是心臟的第二個房室
And it gets there by passing through a valve.
右心室和右心房之間，有一個瓣膜
And this valve, and all valves in the heart,
心臟中所有的瓣膜
are basically there to keep blood moving in the right direction.
都是為保證血液能流向正確的方向
So it doesn't go in the backwards direction.
使得血液不至于逆流
So this valve is called the tricuspid valve.
這個瓣膜叫三尖瓣
And it's called that because it's basically got three little flaps.
之所以叫三尖瓣，是因為它由三個瓣膜構成
That's why they call it tri.
才有詞首tri-（意思是三）
And I know you can only see two in my drawing,
大家可能只能看到兩個瓣膜
and that's just because my drawing is not perfect.
這是手畫的缺點
And it's hard to show a flap coming out at you,
很難畫一個正對你們的瓣膜
but you can imagine it.
大家可以自己想象一下
So blood goes into the right ventricle. And where does it go next?
好，血液進入右心室以后又會怎樣呢？
Well after that, it's going to go this way.
在這之后，血液來到這里
It's going to go into this vessel, and it's going to split.
通過這條血管，血液兵分兩路
But before it goes there, it has to pass through another valve.
不過中間還要通過一個瓣膜
So this is a valve, right here, called the pulmonary valve.
叫做肺動脈瓣
And it gives you a clue as to where things are going to go next.
聽到這個名字，大家可能知道血液的下一個目的地在哪里了
Right? Because the word pulmonary means lungs.
肺動脈瓣，很明顯跟肺有關
