Notice that there are questions which use "be"

and questions which use "have got"
還有些問題會用到have got
How is he?

What's he like?
他長什么樣？
Has he got a beard?
他有胡子嗎？
When we ask questions about the color of eyes and hair
當我們問到關于眼睛和頭發顏色的問題時
you will notice that we use different verbs
你會發現我們使用了不同的謂語動詞
because the word eyes is a plural noun
因為eyes是個復數名詞
which means that there are more than one
表示不止一個
and the word hair is a singular noun
頭發是單數名詞
What color are her eyes?
她的眼睛是什么顏色的？
What color is her hair?
她的頭發是什么顏色的？
Plural nouns must have plural verbs
復數名詞必須使用復數形式的動詞
Singular nouns must have singular verbs
單數名詞必須使用單數形式的動詞
When we want to know what a person looks like
當我們想知道一個人的長相時
we're wanting to know about the appearance
我們是想了解外貌
This is different to asking what a person is like
當問到某人怎么樣時，情況會有所不同
which suggests we're wanting to know someone's opinion
這表示我們希望了解某人在他人的思維
about how that person thinks or acts
以及行為方式方面的意見
Anna is a happy person
安娜是個快樂的人
Anna is a quiet person
安娜是個恬靜的人
Anna is a positive person
安娜是個積極樂觀的人
These are all examples of what Anna is like
這些都是針對安娜的描述
Watch how poor Ashley is described in the following dialogue

Look, how funny he looks today

What color tie is he wearing?

The same as ours

Well, what color are his eyes?
