In many cities, there are even public platfonns built to enhance the communication between homosexuals.

A survey demonstrates that about 2 percent of the total adult population has homosexual tendencies. This special population is widespread and can be found in all social statuses. They don't look different from others. Nowadays, people are changing their attitudes toward homosexuality. we have become more open-minded and tolerant to it.

Despi te of all of this, generally speaking, homosexuals are not living a carefree life. Experts did research on male homosexuals who lived in big or medium-sized cities, and who were well-educated, relatively young and active. The result shows that 30 to 35 percent have had strong sense of committing suicide due to the discrimination from others; 9 to 13 percent had attempted to commit suicide; and over 50 percent were agonized by misunderstanding, which has seriously affected their life and work.
