"Do you remember when you told me that I didn't see myself very clearly?" I asked, raising my eyebrows. "You obviously have the same blindness."

"I know what I am."
“我知道自己是什么。”
I sighed.
我嘆了口氣。
But his mercurial mood shifted on me. He pursed his lips, and his eyes were probing. He examined my face for a long moment.
但他敏捷易變的心緒因我而改變了。他撅起唇，他的眼睛在刺探著。他久久地審視著我的臉。
"You're ready now, then?" he asked.
“那么，你現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)準備好了？”他問道。
"Um." I gulped. "Yes?"
“呃，”我吞咽了一下。“是的？”
He smiled, and inclined his head slowly until his cold lips brushed against the skin just under the corner of my jaw.
他微笑著，然后慢慢地埋下頭，直到他冰冷的唇輕輕掃過我頜角之下的肌膚。
"Right now?" he whispered, his breath blowing cool on my neck. I shivered involuntarily.
“就是現(xiàn)在？”他耳語著，他冰冷的氣息吹拂著我的肌膚。我無意識地顫抖起來。
"Yes," I whispered, so my voice wouldn't have a chance to break. If he thought I was bluffing, he was going to be disappointed. I'd already made this decision, and I was sure.
“是的。”我耳語著，這樣我的聲音就沒有機會破音了。如果他認為我只是在虛張聲勢，那他就要失望了。我確實已經(jīng)做出了決定，而且我很確定。
