我們常會在美國電影里看到有人在家門口除草的畫面， 美國一些獨棟住宅通常會有庭院草坪，這些草坪是屬于公共景觀的一部分，所以房子的主人必須定期除草，若是草長 得太長太亂，是要罰款的。
