eg. All my possessions are for a moment of time.

eg. For a moment I was ready to agree that balance might not be what we all need.

在某一時刻我似乎同意了平衡有可能不是我們所有人都需要的觀點。

2. be going to

將要；打算

eg. I've already given you an overview of what topics we'll be going to.

我已經(jīng)給你們大致介紹了一下,我們將要進行的主題。

eg. If the world appears to be going to hell, goes the thinking, perhaps that’s just what is happening.

如果世界看上去正走向毀滅，人們也會更多的去思考，也許正在發(fā)生的就是如此而已。

3. starve to death

餓死

eg. Rats that are kept awake die after two weeks, less time than it takes them to starve to death.

被迫保持清醒狀態(tài)的老鼠在兩周后就會死亡，所需時間比讓它們餓死的時間還短。

eg. If I were unfamiliar with the land or the sheep were left on their own they’d starve to death.

如果我對土地不熟悉，或者它們被落在后面，它們就會餓死。
