France has reported a second case of a new type of corona virus infection.
法國有報道稱發(fā)現(xiàn)第二例新型冠狀病毒。
The 50-year-old man shared a ward with the only other known case in the country, a possible sign of human-to-human transmission. The virus is similar to the one that caused SARS, a respiratory syndrome that killed 775 people in 2003. The new virus cluster broke out last year in Saudi Arabia, then spread to Europe. It has killed 18 people so far.
現(xiàn)年50歲的某男子與該國之前被發(fā)現(xiàn)染有該病毒的患者同住，由此可見，該病毒有人-人傳播的跡象。該病毒與之前引發(fā)SARS的病毒相似，SARS是一種呼吸綜合癥，2003年爆發(fā)的SARS奪走775人的生命。該新型病毒去年在沙特阿拉伯爆發(fā)，之后傳到歐洲。至今，已有18人因此而喪生。
Assistant Deputy Secretary of World Health Organization Keiji Fukuda says it appears likely that the virus can be passed between people in close contact, but it is so far unable to sustain general transmission in communities.
世界衛(wèi)生組織執(zhí)行秘書長Keiji Fukuda表示該病毒看起來似乎有可能通過人-人密切接觸進行傳播，但是目前還不可能通過一般性接觸進行傳播。
