Obama administration healthcare officials are holding firm on the provision in the health care law that limits the difference in premiums that can be charged to older and to younger adults. As NPR's Julie Rovner reports there is reaction on both sides of the debate.

Officials say there are now six tanks _4_ radioactive waste at the Hanford nuclear reservation in Washington state. The Energy Department says there is no immediate threat to public health. However the news is triggering new calls for attention to the Hanford nuclear site.Cleanup efforts are billions of dollars over budget and they are behind schedule . The tanks that _5_ radioactive waste are much older than their 20-year life span. Oregon senator Ron Wyden says he will ask for an investigation into Hanford's tank monitoring and maintenance programs.
