1.I work at a company where there are about a gazillion employees.

gazillion：a very large indefinite number (usually hyperbole); "there were millions of flies"

2.I remembered after a few years of passing by the founder, I had the courage to ask him for a meeting.
我記得，和創(chuàng)立者打過(guò)幾年的招呼之后，我鼓起勇氣邀請(qǐng)他對(duì)話一次。
have the courage to:有勇氣去;有膽量
如：have the courage of one's opinions 敢于堅(jiān)持和實(shí)行自已的信念
pass by：If you pass by something, you go past it or near it on your way to another place. 經(jīng)過(guò);過(guò)去
如：A cork, bobbing on water as waves pass by, is not swept along with the water.
當(dāng)水波經(jīng)過(guò)時(shí)，在水面上下浮動(dòng)的軟木不會(huì)隨水漂走。
3.I still follow my mother’s advice.
我仍謹(jǐn)記取母親的教誨
follow one’s advice:聽(tīng)從某人的建議,聽(tīng)從某人的勸告
如：Tell me the reason (why) he refused to listen to（follow） my advice.
告訴我為何他拒絕聽(tīng)從我的勸告。
