1.horizontal adj. 水平的，橫的

如：The sun rises from the horizontal line.
太陽從地平線上升起。

The vertical line meets the horizontal one here.

2.blemish n. 污點，缺點

如：His reputation was blemished by a newspaper article alleging he had taken bribes.
