Study sees rise in men not washing hands



According to the latest stakeout by the "hand washing police”, the gender gap has widened when it comes to hygiene. 根據最新的“洗手警察”的監視調查，當涉及到衛生問題時，性別差異會更加的大。

When it comes to public restrooms, one-third of men didn't bother to wash after using the bathroom, compared with 12 percent of women. 在使用完公共廁所之后，有三分之一的男士不愿意麻煩自己洗個手，而這樣的女士有12％。

Frequent hand washing is the single best thing people can do to avoid getting sick, from colds and the flu to germs lurking in food. 經常洗手是人們避免由感冒，流感和食物中潛伏病毒帶來的疾病簡單而有效的一個辦法。

Nearly three-fourths of Americans said they always wash up after changing a diaper, 78 percent said they do so after eating food; 42 percent after petting a dog, 25 percent after handling money, and 34 percent after coughing or sneezing.
