So, what happens to the sun?

Why does the sun lose its light?
它為什么會失去光芒？
It is because the moon hides the sun.
那是因為月球擋住了太陽。
The Earth circles around the sun.
地球繞著太陽轉。
And the moon circles around the Earth.
而月球繞著地球轉。
Sometimes, the Earth, the moon and the sun stand in a line.
有時，月球、地球和太陽正好處在一條直線上。
Once that happens, people on Earth cannot see the sun because of the moon.
那種現象一旦發生，地球上的人就看不到太陽，因為月球擋住了它。
This is a solar eclipse.
這就叫做日食。
When the moon moves, we can see the sun again.
月球運轉的時候，我們就又能看到太陽了。
